OpenMediaVault is a network attached storage solution based on Debian Linux. Its very similar to FreeNAS. I am not fan of FreeNAS, since its based on FreeBSD. So for those of us who prefer Debian based Linux, this OpenMediaVault would be nice alternate option. . Check out this link OpenMediaVault blog
